Investigation of Aging Mechanism of Pt‐ZSM‐5 Catalysts for Non‐Oxidative Propane Dehydrogenation
A Pt‐ZSM5 catalyst, coked during propane dehydrogenation and regenerated with air, was investigated. For this, a newly developed isothermal ceramic flat‐bed reactor was described and applied. It was demonstrated that the Pt clusters are located inside the zeolite pores. Mobilization of Pt by oxygen contact leads to permanent aging.
