The Therapeutic Potential of Oxyhydrogen Gas in Oncology: A Study on Epstein–Barr Virus-Immortalised B-Lymphoblastoid (TK6) Cells [PDF]

open access: yesHydrogen, 2023
Cancer is a leading cause of mortality worldwide. B-cells are a keystone of the adaptive immune response and are essential for the presentation of tumor-associated antigens to various types of T-cells. Approximately 1.5% of global cancer cases, including

Effects of oxyhydrogen gas induction on the performance of a small-capacity diesel engine [PDF]

open access: yesScience Progress, 2020
Compression ignition engines are one of the world’s largest consumers of fossil oil but have energy extraction efficiency limited to 35%. Addition of hydrogen alongside diesel fuel has been found to improve engine performance and efficiency; however ...

Lab-Scale Cultivation of Cupriavidus necator on Explosive Gas Mixtures: Carbon Dioxide Fixation into Polyhydroxybutyrate [PDF]

open access: yesBioengineering, 2022
Aerobic, hydrogen oxidizing bacteria are capable of efficient, non-phototrophic CO2 assimilation, using H2 as a reducing agent. The presence of explosive gas mixtures requires strict safety measures for bioreactor and process design.

Synthesis of Amides from Amines and Esters Under Hydrothermal Conditions. [PDF]

open access: yesChemistryOpen
In this study, we explore the amide synthesis under hydrothermal conditions, using amines and esters as the starting materials. Proposed major pathway starts with ester hydrolysis, followed by condensation between carboxylic acids and amines. The amide yield is dependent on the substrate structure, solution pH, and the presence of dissolved metal salts.
