A universal bioluminescence resonance energy transfer sensor design enables high-sensitivity screening of GPCR activation dynamics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) represent one of the most important classes of drug targets. The discovery of new GCPR therapeutics would greatly benefit from the development of a generalizable high-throughput assay to directly monitor their ...

Determination of oxymetazoline hydrochloride and decomposition products by high-performance liquid chromatography.

open access: yesActa poloniae pharmaceutica, 2001
An HPLC method for the separation of the oxymetazoline hydrochloride and the products of its decomposition was developed and validated. The determination was performed with a LiChrospher RP-18 column, mobile phase of methanol-H2O-triethylamine-sodium acetate (1 mol l(-1))-acetic acid (1.06 kg l(-1)) (130:60:6:2:1).

An advanced in silico model of the oral mucosa reveals the impact of extracellular spaces on chemical permeation [PDF]

open access: yes
Accurately predicting the permeation of chemicals through human epithelial tissues is crucial for pharmaceutical therapeutic design and toxicology. Current mathematical models of multi-layered stratified squamous epithelium such as those in the oral ...

Spectrophotometric Determination of Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride Via Oxidative Coupling Reaction with 4-Aminoantipyrine in the Presence of Potassium Periodate

open access: yes, 2011
A simple spectrophotometric method is developed for the determination of oxymetazoline hydrochloride (OMCl) as pure and in its pharmaceutical preparations. The method is based on the oxidative coupling reaction of OMCl with 4-aminoantipyrine (4-A.A.P) in

The stability of oxymetazoline hydrochloride in aqueous solution.

open access: yesActa poloniae pharmaceutica, 2002
The kinetics of the hydrolysis reaction of oxymetazoline hydrochloride in aqueous solution at three temperatures (343 K, 353 K, 363 K), over the pH-range 0.5-12.5 and ionic strength 0.5 has been investigated. The changes of concentration of oxymetazoline hydrochloride were followed by the HPLC method with UV detection.

Nasal delivery of peptides using powder carriers based on starch/poly(acrylic acid) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
As peptides are not suitable for oral administration, they are generally administered parenterally. Due to the disadvantages associated with parenteral delivery alternative routes of administration (buccal, nasal, pulmonal, ocular, transdermal, rectal ...
