A new species of Spauligodon , Spauligodon latasticola n. sp., from the intestines of Latastia longicaudata (Lacertidae) from Kenya is described and illustrated. Spauligodon latasticola represents the 47th species assigned to the genus and the 8th species from the Ethiopian region.

On Two New Nematodes of the Genus Spironoura (Oxyuroidea: Kathlaniidae) from a Ceylon Tortoise
Journal of Helminthology, 1972S. fernandoi and S. pillaii are described as new species and are shown to differ specifically from each other and from S. japonensis, the only other species that has been reported as having spines on the spicules.

Anuronema (type-species A. kuringa n.sp.) is characterized by the virtual absence of a tail (only a rounded body terminus) in the female. Males are unknown.

The transmission of Syphacia muris (Nematoda: Oxyuroidea) in the laboratory rat
1982During its transmission, Syphacia muris Yamaguti 1935, (Nermatoda: Oxyuroidea), undergoes 4 moults in the rat host to become an adult. Worms deposit up to 4000 eggs daily on the host's perianal region following a circadian rhythm. Most of the eggs are deposited in the day time, with a peak occurring around noon time.

2007A new genus of Thelastomatidae viz. Protrellima gen, nov. is described from Manipur and its affinities are discussed. The genus belongs to the subfamily Protrelloidinae.
