Advanced Science, EarlyView.Conformational plasticity governs SARS‐CoV‐2 spike function and ACE2 recognition. Using high‐speed AFM and single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we analyzed the ancestral spike and nine variants, revealing progressive rigidification from Delta, variable plasticity in Omicron sublineages, and JN.1 compaction.

Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.31P solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance analysis revealed the presence of aluminum tripolyphosphate on the surface of a platinum/aluminum condensed phosphate mixture (ACPM) catalyst. This finding led to the development of a Pt/aluminum tripolyphosphate (Pt/ATPP) catalyst for the selective hydrogenolysis of phenols to arenes.
