Reducing Open‐Circuit Voltage Losses in Wide‐Bandgap FAPbBr3 Perovskite Solar Cells for Continuous Unassisted Light‐Driven Water Splitting

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The combination of formamidinium thiocyanate and 1,3‐propane diammonium iodide for bulk and top‐surface passivation, and a ternary fullerene blend to improve energy band alignment, suppresses energy losses in wide‐bandgap FAPbBr3 perovskite solar cells.

Ozone Therapy on Rats Submitted to Subtotal Nephrectomy: Role of Antioxidant System

open access: yesMediators of Inflammation, 2005
Chronic renal failure (CRF) represents a world health problem. Ozone increases the endogenous antioxidant defense system, preserving the cell redox state.

Ozonated Water, Ozonated Water, Ozonated Oil and its Products [abstract] [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Ozone Therapy, 2018
Most of us are aware that ozone is basically a treatment of pure oxygen and its effect on the human body is even better. As our human body is made up of 70% of water, we used ozone in many different way, one of them is what we know as ozonated water.

Wafer‐Scale Synthesis of Mithrene and its Application in UV Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A controlled tarnishing step on the silver surface precedes the solid‐vapor‐phase chemical transformation into silver phenylselenolate thin films. The approach yields crystals exceeding 1 µm with improved in‐plane orientation. Integration on graphene phototransistors demonstrates high photoresponsivity, positioning mithrene as a promising material for ...

Clouds, photolysis and regional tropospheric ozone budgets. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We use a three-dimensional chemical transport model to examine the shortwave radiative effects of clouds on the tropospheric ozone budget. In addition to looking at changes in global concentrations as previous studies have done, we examine changes in ...

The Dynamics of Interfacial Trap States in High‐Detectivity Near‐Infrared Photomultiplication Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Photomultiplication organic photodetectors (PM OPDs) are an attractive strategy for health‐monitoring. Here, PM‐OPDs are reported with a specific detectivity of 5.7 × 1012 Jones and external quantum efficiency values of 3500% under −10 V. The dynamics of carrier trapping in these devices are elucidated through trap selective spectroscopical techniques.

Structural characterization by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of ozonized triolein

open access: yesGrasas y Aceites, 2008
In the present study ozonized triolein with 739 mmolequiv/ kg peroxide index is characterized by NMR.The triolein and ozonized triolein show very similar 1H NMR spectra except for the resonances at δ 9.74 ppm, which correspond to aldehydic protons and ...

Oxidation of biogenic and water-soluble compounds in aqueous and organic aerosol droplets by ozone: a kinetic and product analysis approach using laser Raman tweezers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The results of an experimental study into the oxidative degradation of proxies for atmospheric aerosol are presented. We demonstrate that the laser Raman tweezers method can be used successfully to obtain uptake coeffcients for gaseous oxidants on ...

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.
