Respirol Case RepWe report a case of refractory granulation occurring 7 years after metallic stent implantation in the trachea and right main bronchus of a 10‐year old patient with tracheobronchial stenosis caused by a malignant posterior mediastinal tumour. The tracheal stent was ultimately removed with great effort due to refractory granulation tissue.

J Cell PhysiolOur results indicate the involvement of CHI3L1 in the fibrocyte–fibroblast interaction and exacerbate BM fibrosis by promoting extracellular matrix formation. CHI3L1 is a missing link between fibrocytes and myofibroblasts and is a new potential therapeutic target for MF treatment.
