Fibre refractometer based on a Fabry-Pérot interferometer
SPIE Proceedings, 2008It is described a fibre optic sensor for liquid refractive index measurement based on the visibility variations of a Fabry-Perot interferometer with interfering waves generated in a short Bragg grating and in the fibre tip (Fresnel reflection) in contact with the liquid.

Plasmonic coaxial Fabry-Pérot nanocavity color filter
SPIE Proceedings, 2010Plamonic coaxial structures have drawn considerable attetion recently because of their unique properties. They exhibit different mechanisms of extraordinary optical transmission observed from subwavelength holes and they can support localized Fabry-Perot plasmon modes.

Recent advances in SWIR MEMS-based tunable Fabry-Pérot microspectrometers
SPIE Proceedings, 2011Recent progress in short wavelength infrared MEMS based Fabry-Perot microspectrometers at The University of Western Australia is presented. The original monolithic approach has been replaced with a hybrid one due to HgCdTe restricting the thermal budget and affecting the quality of structural silicon nitride films.

, 2007 ECN ontwikkelt samen met apparatenbouwers thermoakoestische en thermochemische warmtepompen die een flinke energiebesparing moeten opleveren. Het bedrijf gaat er vanuit dat ongeveer twintig tot dertig procent van de industriële restwarmte kan worden teruggevoerd bij een hogere temperatuur. Het systeem wordt momenteel getest op bruikbaarheid.
