Inhibition of leucine‐rich kinase 2 (LRRK2) promotes peripheral axon regeneration via phosphorylation‐network remodelling

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Background and Purpose In contrast to neurons in the central nervous system, neurons in the peripheral nervous system can regenerate axons after injury via activation of a pro‐regenerative transcriptional programme. Pathogenic mutations in leucine‐rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) are the most common genetic cause of Parkinson's disease, and several small ...

Evidence for the Induction of Anxiolytic‐Like Behavior and Memory Preservation by (+)‐Dihydrocarvone Through Studies in Adult Zebrafish and In Sílico

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 8, August 2026.
(+)‐Dihydrocarvone exhibited anxiolytic‐like and memory‐preserving effects in adult zebrafish. Behavioral assays showed reduced anxiety and improved cognitive performance, while in silico docking revealed strong interactions with GABAergic and cholinergic targets. These findings suggest (+)‐dihydrocarvone as a promising neuroactive compound for anxiety
