A generalization of arithmetic derivative to p-adic fields and number fields [PDF]
The arithmetic derivative is a function from the natural numbers to itself that sends all prime numbers to 1 and satisfies the Leibniz rule. The arithmetic partial derivative with respect to a prime p is the p-th component of the arithmetic derivative ...

On the closed subfields of Q¯~p${\tilde{\bar Q}}_p$
Let p be a prime number, and let Q¯~p$\bf{\tilde{\bar {\text Q}}}_p$ be the completion of Q with respect to the pseudovaluation w which extends the p-adic valuation vp. In this paper our goal is to give a characterization of closed subfields of Q¯~p$\bf{\

Displayed equations for Galois representations [PDF]
The Galois representation associated to a p-divisible group over a complete noetherian normal local ring with perfect residue field is described in terms of its Dieudonn\'e display. As a corollary we deduce in arbitrary characteristic Kisin's description

On Diophantine Equations Related to Order of Appearance in Fibonacci Sequence
Let F n be the nth Fibonacci number. Order of appearance z ( n ) of a natural number n is defined as smallest natural number k, such that n divides F k .

p-adic valuation of harmonic sums and their connections with Wolstenholme primes
We explore a conjecture posed by Eswarathasan and Levine on the distribution of $p$-adic valuations of harmonic numbers $H(n)=1+1/2+\cdots+1/n$ that states that the set $J_p$ of the positive integers $n$ such that $p$ divides the numerator of $H(n)$ is finite.

Binomial expansions modulo prime powers
In this note a result is given and proved concerning binomial expansions modulo prime powers. In the proof congruence modulo prime powers is generalized to the rational numbers via valuations.
