Fundamental solutions to the p-Laplace equation in a class of Grushin vector fields
We find the fundamental solution to the p-Laplace equation in a class of Grushin-type spaces. The singularity occurs at the sub-Riemannian points, which naturally corresponds to finding the fundamental solution of a generalized Grushin operator in ...

ABSTRACT We have studied possible applications of a particular pseudodifferential algebra in singular analysis for the construction of fundamental solutions and Green's functions of a certain class of elliptic partial differential operators. The pseudodifferential algebra considered in the present work, comprises degenerate partial differential ...

The p-Laplacian: phenomenological modelling of the flow in porous media and CFD simulations [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to discuss several aspects of connections between the p-Laplacian and mathematical models in hydrology. At first we present models of groundwater flow in phreatic aquifers and models of irrigation and drainage that lead to quasilinear parabolic equations involving the p-Laplacian.

Abstract Purpose The aim is to establish the relationship between carotid susceptibility and microstructural components in diseased carotid arteries. Methods Excised cadaveric carotid arteries (n = 5) were scanned using high‐resolution QSM at 7 Tesla. After ex vivo imaging, all samples were brought to histology and stained for elastin, collagen, cells,

SCT‐BEM for Transient Heat Conduction and Wave Propagation in 2D Thin‐Walled Structures
ABSTRACT Traditional boundary element method (BEM) faces significant challenges in addressing dynamic problems in thin‐walled structures. These challenges arise primarily from the complexities of handling time‐dependent terms and nearly singular integrals in structures with thin‐shapes.
