Asymptotic behavior of cooperative systems involving p-Laplacian operators

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2022
This work is devoted to the analysis of the asymptotic behavior of a parameter dependent quasilinear cooperative eigenvalue system when a parameter in front of some non-negative potentials approaches infinity. In particular we consider operators of p-Laplacian type.

Non-Lipschitz heterogeneous reaction with a p-Laplacian operator

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2022
<p>The intention along this work is to provide analytical approaches for a degenerate parabolic equation formulated with a p-Laplacian operator and heterogeneous non-Lipschitz reaction. Firstly, some results are discussed and presented in relation with uniqueness, existence and regularity of solutions.

Convergence to steady states for radially symmetric solutions to a quasilinear degenerate diffusive Hamilton-Jacobi equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Convergence to a single steady state is shown for non-negative and radially symmetric solutions to a diffusive Hamilton-Jacobi equation with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions, the diffusion being the $p$-Laplacian operator, $p\ge 2$, and the ...

Positive solutions for eigenvalue problems of fractional q-difference equation with ϕ-Laplacian

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2021
The aim of this paper is to investigate the boundary value problem of a fractional q-difference equation with ϕ-Laplacian, where ϕ-Laplacian is a generalized p-Laplacian operator. We obtain the existence and nonexistence of positive solutions in terms of

Vector p-Laplacian like operators, pseudo-eigenvalues, and bifurcation

open access: yesDiscrete & Continuous Dynamical Systems - A, 2007
Boundary value problems for systems of ordinary differential equations are studied. These systems involve asymptotically homogeneous operators. Leray-Schauder indices are calculated for these operators and the concept of pseudo-eigenvalue is defined. The existence of nontrivial solutions is studied.

Aggregating distributed energy resources for grid flexibility services: A distributed game theoretic approach

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract We propose a hierarchical energy management scheme for aggregating Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) for grid flexibility services. To prevent a direct participation of numerous prosumers in the wholesale electricity market, aggregators, as self‐interest agents in our scheme, incentivize prosumers to provide flexibility. We firstly model the

Existence of Multiple Weak Solutions to a Discrete Fractional Boundary Value Problem

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
The existence of at least three weak solutions to a discrete fractional boundary value problem containing a p-Laplacian operator and subject to perturbations is proved using variational methods. Some applications of the main results are presented.

Considering spatiotemporal evolutionary information in dynamic multi‐objective optimisation

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Preserving population diversity and providing knowledge, which are two core tasks in the dynamic multi‐objective optimisation (DMO), are challenging since the sampling space is time‐ and space‐varying. Therefore, the spatiotemporal property of evolutionary information needs to be considered in the DMO.
