New results on maximal $$L^p$$-regularity of a class of integrodifferential equations
Archiv der MathematikThe authors investigate the following integro-differential equation in a Banach space \(X\): \[ u'(t)=Au(t)+\int_0^ta(t-s)Cu(s)\, ds + f(t), \qquad t\ge 0, \ u(0)=x, \] where \(A:D(A)\subset X\to X\) is the generator of a strongly continuous semigroup \(\{T(t):X\to X; \, t\ge 0\}\), \(a(\cdot )\in L^r(\mathbb{R}^+)\) is a scalar function for \(r\in (1,+

Milan Journal of Mathematics, 2013
In this paper, the authors consider a class of Kolmogorov equation in divergence form defined in a bounded open domain of \(\mathbf R^{N+1}\). Equations of this form have applications in the theory of stochastic processes, in the kinetic theory and in mathematical finance. They have been widely studied by Lanconelli and his school.

Structure of р-Solvable Groups With Three р-Regular Classes
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1991One of the important invariants of a р-block B of a group algebra is ℓ (B), the number of non-isomorphic simple B-modules. A number of authors calculated ℓ (B) for various types of defect groups of B. In particular, by Olsson [6], it has been proved that if p = 2 and the defect groups of the block B are dihedral or semi-dihedral or generalized ...

Finite groups with exactly threep-regular classes
Archiv der Mathematik, 1991The following Theorem is proved: Let \(G\) be a finite nonsolvable group with \(O_ p(G)=1\). If \(G\) has exactly three \(p'\)-conjugacy classes, then either \(p=2\) and \(G \cong \Sigma_ 5\), \(PGL_ 2(7)\), \(M_{10}\), \(P \Gamma L_ 2(9)\) or \(p=3\) and \(G \cong P \Gamma L_ 2(8)\) or \(p=5\) and \(G \cong A_ 5\).

Correction to: Structure of p-Solvable Groups with Three p-Regular Classes
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1993Concerns the article [ibid. 43, No. 3, 559-579 (1991; Zbl 0738.20012)]. Besides some minor misprints the complete list of groups in Theorem B is indicated [cf. also the following review Zbl 0826.20012].
