On certain subclasses of p-valent functions [PDF]
Summary: This paper gives some inclusion relationships of certain class of \(p\)-valent functions which are defined by using the new linear operator \(\mathfrak{Re}^{\alpha, \gamma}_{\beta,p}\). Further, a property preserving integrals is considered.

Vaccination of risk groups in England using the 13 valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine: economic analysis. [PDF]
OBJECTIVE: To estimate the cost effectiveness of vaccinating people with high risk conditions against invasive pneumococcal disease using the 13 valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine.

On the starlikeness of p-valent functions
Summary: For an analytic function in open unit disk \(\mathbb{D}\), we consider the \(p\)-valent analogue of the Noshiro-Warschawski univalence condition. We apply the Fejér-Riesz inequality to establish some sufficient conditions for functions to be \(p\)-valent or to be a Bazilevič function or to be in some other classes.

Decrease in Pneumococcal Co-Colonization following Vaccination with the Seven-Valent Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine [PDF]
Understanding the epidemiology of pneumococcal co-colonization is important for monitoring vaccine effectiveness and the occurrence of horizontal gene transfer between pneumococcal strains.

Clonal expansion within pneumococcal serotype 6C after use of seven-valent vaccine [PDF]
Streptococcus pneumoniae causes invasive infections, primarily at the extremes of life. A seven-valent conjugate vaccine (PCV7) is used to protect against invasive pneumococcal disease in children.

The impact of Zero-valent Iron Nanoparticles upon Soil Microbial Communities is Context Dependent [PDF]
Purpose Nanosized zero valent iron (nZVI) is an effective land remediation tool, but there remains little information regarding its impact upon and interactions with the soil microbial community.

Platinum(II) complexes of mixed-valent radicals derived from cyclotricatechylene, a macrocyclic tris-dioxolene [PDF]
Three complexes of cyclotricatechylene (H6ctc), [{PtL}3(μ3-ctc)], have been synthesised: (L = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)benzene {dppb}, 1; L = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane {dppe}, 2; L = 4,4′-bis(tert-butyl)-2,2′-bipyridyl {tBu2bipy}, 3).

Multiple Colonization with S. pneumoniae before and after Introduction of the Seven-Valent Conjugated Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine [PDF]
Background: Simultaneous carriage of more than one strain of Streptococcus pneumoniae promotes horizontal gene transfer events and may lead to capsule switch and acquisition of antibiotic resistance. We studied the epidemiology of cocolonization with S.
