Pattern reversal evoked potentials were recorded from 40 people (20 males and 20 females) in good health. Latency and amplitude of P100 as well as cephalic perimeter and temperature were measured. Both samples did not differ in age. Males had a greater cephalic perimeter (p less than 0.00001) and females had a greater temperature (p less than 0.05 ...

The latencies of SEP N20, P40, N60, P100, and N140 components were measured after stimulation of two different sites, and the differences in relation to conduction velocity and their central functions are discussed. Subjects were 8 healthy right-handed males (age 22–31 years, height 164–184 cm).

We evaluated the visual functions of visual acuity, color sense, direct pupillary light reflex and pattern visual evoked potentials (P100) in five patients with unilateral optic neuritis whose visual acuity improved to 1.0 or better in order to assess the recovery of the impaired optic nerve fibers from the inflammatory process.

Influence of primary open angle glaucoma on pattern visual evoked potentials P100 latency
2013Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess factors, influencing P100 latency prolongation in primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) patients. Methods: Patients group consisted of 63 adults (age 49 - 70). Controls group consisted of 70 individuals (age 45 - 74).

Purpose. The objective of the present study was to investigate and compare manifestation of the oblique effect on transient pattern reversal VEP P100 amplitude and latency between a large random sample of healthy individuals and subjects with primary open angle glaucoma (POAG). Methods.
