Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Remarks on μ″-measurbale sets: regularity, σ-smootheness, and measurability
Let X be an arbitrary nonempty set and ℒ a lattice of subsets of X such that ϕ,X∈ℒ. 𝒜(ℒ) is the algebra generated by ℒ and ℳ(ℒ) denotes those nonnegative, finite, finitely additive measures μ on 𝒜(ℒ).

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Long-term in vitro Culture of Cryptosporidium parvum
Continuous in vitro growth of Cryptosporidium parvum has proved difficult and conventional in vitro culture techniques result in short-term (2-5 days) growth of the parasite resulting in thin-walled oocysts that fail to propagate using in vitro cultures,

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

On lattice-topological properties of general Wallman spaces
Let X be an arbitrary set and ℒ a lattice of subsets of X such that ϕ,X∈ℒ.𝒜(ℒ) is the algebra generated by ℒ and I(ℒ) consists of all zero-one valued finitely additive measures on 𝒜(ℒ).

Microcredit and Survival Microenterprises: The Role of Market Structure
Poverty remains a pervasive problem all over the world, but the problem is worst in underdeveloped areas like Africa. While microfinance is supposed to address this problem through the promotion of viable businesses, it has not been very successful in ...
