Role of circulating fibrocytes in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis
BJS Open, Volume 4, Issue 6, Page 1256-1265, December 2020., 2020 The circulating fibrocyte percentage is increased in patients with acute appendicitis. This may improve diagnostics, and reduce unnecessary radiation exposure and surgical operations. Circulating fibrocyte percentage may help in diagnosis of acute appendicitis.
