Packaging Elements and Consumer Buying Decisions

International Journal of Business Innovation and Research, 2010
Since food products directly affect consumers' health, they consider more care in selection of such products. Packaging as an important element plays a major role in consumer decision of food products. The aim of this research is to gain a deeper understanding of the role of packaging elements in consumer buying decisions considering different product ...

Common processor element packaging for CHAMP

Proceedings IEEE Symposium on FPGAs for Custom Computing Machines, 2002
A generic approach for packaging advanced, application specific processors as well a future processing elements into a common JEDEC MCM (Multi-chip Module) footprint is presented and demonstrated. Usage of a common I/O scheme at the MCM level eases future device upgrades, maximizes module reuse and minimizes redesign.

A unified boundary-element finite-element package

IEEE Transactions on Electrical Insulation, 1993
A set of computer programs designed for research and educational objectives in the analysis of low frequency electric and magnetic field phenomena is described. These programs are developed around a standard and easily extensible user interface, run on both PC-compatible and X window platforms, and offer the user a wide range of analysis tools.

INTERACTIVE PACKAGE FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE ELEMENTS OF A CONTROL LOOP

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1985
Abstract The paper presents an interactive package for the identification of the elements of a control loop. This includes not only the dynamic behaviour of the process, but also the static behaviour of the process and the controller and the static nonlinear behaviour of the sensors.

FINITE-ELEMENT SIMULATION OF AN IN-PACKAGE PASTEURIZATION PROCESS

Numerical Heat Transfer, 1983
Abstract The problem considered in this paper is the simulation of the in-package pasteurization process for fluids contained in bottles or cans. In a typical pasteurization operation, the product enters the pasteurizer at a temperature of about 36°F and passes through several progressively hotter zones, which raise its temperature to approximately 140°

Design of Energy Scavengers with the Help of Finite Element Packages

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2007
Self‐powering sensors have been desired for future platform sensor networks to minimize wiring and related problems. The selection of the proper area of piezoelectric patches at various operating conditions is an important challenge since the selection of a large patch area increases the complexity and weight.

Unpacking packaging—a meta-analysis on the effects of visual packaging elements

Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science
This meta-analysis examines how visual packaging elements influence consumer responses across 1,213 effects from 280 studies in 119 papers. We synthesize the impact of eight key visual elements-size, color, shape, material, background, imagery, logo design, and text design-on outcomes ranging from package perceptions to product inferences and behaviors,

A data structure for a finite element package

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1988
The general structure of a finite element package for electromagnetic field computation is discussed. The data structures linked with the preprocessing and processing are examined. There are data structures for the geometry, physical properties, and mesh. A computation tool used for data structuring and management is presented. >
