WaveNetEQ — Packet Loss Concealment with WaveRNN

2020 54th Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems, and Computers, 2020
We present WaveNetEQ, a novel packet loss concealment method based on a WaveRNN architecture. The model is conditioned on a log-mel spectrogram of the past signal to extract slow moving features, like voice characteristics and prosody and achieves significantly better quality than pattern based methods for medium and long term packet loss.

LQG control with Markovian packet loss

2013 European Control Conference (ECC), 2013
This paper is concerned with the optimal LQG control of a system through lossy data networks. In particular we will focus on the case where control commands are issued to the system over a communication network where packets may be randomly dropped according to a two-state Markov chain. Under these assumptions, the optimal finite-horizon LQG problem is

Event-Triggered Impulsive Control for Nonlinear Systems: The Control Packet Loss Case

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems - II - Express Briefs, 2022
This brief investigates a class of nonlinear systems with packet loss phenomenon and external disturbance utilizing impulsive control. For the purpose of reducing the burden of information interaction and controller update in control strategy, we ...

End-to-End Multi-Loss Training for Low Delay Packet Loss Concealment

Interspeech, 2022
Real-time teleconferencing has become one of the essential parts in our daily life. While packet loss during real-time data transmission is unavoidable, traditional signal processing based Packet Loss Concealment (PLC) techniques have been developed in ...

Consensus Tracking of Data-Sampled Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems With Packet Loss and Communication Delay

IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, 2021
This paper investigates the tracking consistency regulation of high-order multi-agent systems (MASs) subject to Lipschitz nonlinear perturbations. Rooting at the leader node, the interagent interaction is described by a directed graph that contains a ...
