The structure and modeling results of the parallel spatial switching system [PDF]
Problems of the switching parallel system designing provided spatial switching of packets from random time are discussed. Results of modeling of switching system as systems of mass service are resulted.

Performance Evaluation of Two-Stage Shared FDL Optical Packet Switch using Contention Resolution Scheme with Packet Releasing Priority [PDF]
This paper proposes a two-stage optical packet switch with second stage of recirculate switch of FDL to reduce the number of the FDL used in the switch for contention resolution. The contention resolution scheme with priority in packet releasing from FDL is tested in the two-stage switch for performance evaluation.

125 Gbit/s discretely tunable InP-on-silicon filtered feedback laser with sub-nanosecond wavelength switching times [PDF]
A heterogeneously integrated InP-on-silicon fast tunable filtered feedback laser is demonstrated. The laser device consists of a main Fabry-Pérot cavity connected to an integrated arrayed waveguide grating of which the outputs form external cavities in ...

Quality of Service Aware Call Admission Control in Cell Based Multi-Service Photonic Network
The article tackles the problem of quality of service assurance in photonic networks. The idea of multi-servicephotonic network model with the coexistence of optical circuit and packet switching mechanisms and cell communication is used as a basis for ...

Performance Evaluation of Packet-to-Cell Segmentation Schemes in Input Buffered Packet Switches [PDF]
Most input buffered packet switches internally segment variable-length packets into fixed-length cells. The last cell in a segmented packet will contain overhead bytes if the packet length is not evenly divisible by the cell length. Switch speed-up is used to compensate for this overhead. In this paper, we develop an analytical model of a single-server

Implementing packet trimming support in hardware [PDF]
Packet trimming is a primitive that has been proposed for datacenter networks: to minimize latency, switches run small queues; when the queue overflows, rather than dropping packets the switch trims off the packet payload and either forwards the header to the destination or back to the source.

Impacts of Device Geometry and Layout on Temperature Profile during Large‐Area Photonic Curing
The study investigates how gate geometry affects peak curing temperature during photonic curing of solution‐processed indium zinc oxide thin‐film transistors. Using 3D simulations and experimental validation, it reveals that larger gate areas and smaller aspect ratios increase curing temperature and thus improve transistor performance. Findings provide
