Comparing the Efficiency of IP and ATM Telephony [PDF]
Circuit switching, suited to providing real-time services due to the low and fixed switching delay, is not cost effective for building integrated services networks bursty data traffic because it is based on static allocation of resources which is not ...

Packet Switch Scheduler for Increasing Sending Packet [PDF]
Recently, the need of the high speed packet switch is increased. The Re-2DRR scheduling algorithm based on 2DRR scheduling algorithm provides high throughput communication on a packet switch. However, computer network is using many cases, that huge data communication, complex, and other. This paper proposes a new method to increase choices in algorithm

Proteomic and phosphoproteomic analyses were performed on lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) tumors with EGFR, KRAS, or EML4–ALK alterations and wild‐type cases. Distinct protein expression and phosphorylation patterns were identified, especially in EGFR‐mutated tumors. Key altered pathways included vesicle transport and RNA splicing.

Nine insights from internet engineering that help us understand brain network communication
Philosophers have long recognized the value of metaphor as a tool that opens new avenues of investigation. By seeing brains as having the goal of representation, the computer metaphor in its various guises has helped systems neuroscience approach a wide ...

Optical packet switching over arbitrary physical topologies using the Manhattan street network : an evolutionary approach [PDF]
Published in "Towards an Optical Internet", A. Jukan (Ed.). Optical packet switching over arbitrary physical topologies typically mandates complex routing schemes and the use of buffers to resolve the likely contentions.

Dynamic homeostasis in packet switching networks [PDF]
In this study, we investigate the adaptation and robustness of a packet switching network (PSN), the fundamental architecture of the Internet. We claim that the adaptation introduced by a transmission control protocol congestion control mechanism is interpretable as the self-organization of complex itinerant behavior among many quasi-attracting states.

Pericytes change function depending on glioblastoma vicinity: emphasis on immune regulation
Pericytes alter their transcriptome depending on their proximity to the tumor core. In the tumor core, pericytes display a more active state with higher communication strength but with lower immune activation potential and a shift toward extracellular matrix production.

Openflow switching: data plane performance [PDF]
—OpenFlow is an open standard that can be implemented in Ethernet switches, routers and wireless access points (AP). In the OpenFlow framework, packet forwarding (data plane) and routing decisions (control plane) run on different devices.

This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell
