Valorizing lemon pomace in bread: Consumer acceptance of fermented and pre‐gelatinized Cardaba banana flour formulations

open access: yesFood Biomacromolecules, EarlyView.
Abstract Whereas gluten‐free bread production often relies on starch‐heavy formulations, this study introduces a novel approach by leveraging the synergistic effects of fermented/pre‐gelatinized Cardaba banana, pigeon pea, and lemon pomace—an underutilized agro‐industrial byproduct.

Litsea cubeba Essential Oil Reduces Postharvest Blueberry Rot by Inducing Cell Membrane Damage and Reactive Oxygen Species Accumulation in Alternaria alternata

open access: yesFuture Postharvest and Food, Volume 3, Issue 2, Page 220-233, June 2026.
Litsea cubeba essential oil (LCEO) reduces blueberry rot while maintaining quality. It disrupts the cellular structure and membranes of Alternaria alternata, causing solute leakage, while simultaneously inducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) damage in the pathogen.

Aloe vera in Food Preservation: Harnessing Bioactive Constituents for Clean‐Label Innovation and Safety Assurance

open access: yesFood Safety and Health, EarlyView.
Aloe vera‐derived biopolymers and nanoformulations enhance antimicrobial, antioxidant, and barrier functions in clean‐label edible coatings and films, whereas safety‐critical anthraquinone thresholds and regulatory constraints shape their translational potential.

Replacement of Ores Recorded by Textures and Chemical Compositions of Sphalerite: An Example From the Furutobe Kuroko Deposit, Akita, Japan

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
Coupled dissolution‐reprecipitation of early formed Cd‐, Fe‐, Ag‐ and Sb‐poor sphalerite through interaction with high‐temperature and high‐sulphur fugacity Cu‐rich fluids, responsible for the formation of the yellow ores, resulted in the formation of Cd‐, Fe‐, Ag‐ and Sb‐rich, heavily chalcopyrite‐diseased sphalerite and enrichment of critical metals ...

Colourings of Uniform Group Divisible Designs and Maximum Packings

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Designs, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A weak c $c$‐colouring of a design is an assignment of colours to its points from a set of c $c$ available colours, such that there are no monochromatic blocks. A colouring of a design is block‐equitable, if for each block, the number of points coloured with any available pair of colours differ by at most one.

Signed Projective Cubes, a Homomorphism Point of View

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The (signed) projective cubes, as a special class of graphs closely related to the hypercubes, are on the crossroad of geometry, algebra, discrete mathematics and linear algebra. Defined as Cayley graphs on binary groups, they represent basic linear dependencies.

Fractional List Packing for Layered Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The fractional list packing number χ ℓ • ( G ) ${\chi }_{\ell }^{\bullet }(G)$ of a graph G $G$ is a graph invariant that has recently arisen from the study of disjoint list‐colourings. It measures how large the lists of a list‐assignment L : V ( G ) → 2 N $L:V(G)\to {2}^{{\mathbb{N}}}$ need to be to ensure the existence of a “perfectly ...

Linear Versus Centred Colouring via Pseudogrids

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A centred colouring of a graph is a vertex colouring in which every connected subgraph contains a vertex whose colour is unique and a linear colouring is a vertex colouring in which every (not‐necessarily induced) path contains a vertex whose colour is unique. For a graph G $G$, the centred chromatic number χ cen ( G ) ${\chi }_{\text{cen}}(G)$
