Nanographene‐Based van der Waals Organic Framework With Permanent Porosity
Unlocking record‐breaking porosity in a supramolecular organic framework (SOF). Through the strategic design of a C3‐symmetric nanographene, a robust supramolecular framework is achieved via exclusively weak van der Waals forces. This metal‐free scaffold reaches a benchmark BET surface area of 1108 m2 g−1 –the highest to date for this class–combining ...

Optimizing the heterointerface coverage of the conducting Ni2P nanoparticles on the surface of BVO photoanode manipulates the surface Fermi‐level modulation, which significantly enhances photoelectrochemical oxygen evolution reaction. Our multiscale simulations and experimental results reveal that an optimal Ni2P coverage of 9.4% pins the surface Fermi

A deep‐red‐excited osmium(II) photosensitizer (Os2) induces immunogenic cell death (ICD) under 740 nm irradiation and triggers robust anti‐tumor immune responses both in vitro and in vivo. ABSTRACT Immunogenic cell death (ICD), which converts tumor cells into their own vaccine, plays a pivotal role in the development of novel anticancer therapies. Here,

Packing Chromatic Number of Circular Fans and Mesh of Trees
The packing chromatic number $\raisebox{2pt}{$\chi$}_{\rho}(G)$ of a graph $G$ is the smallest integer $k$ for which there exists a mapping $\pi:V(G)\longrightarrow \{1,2,...,k\}$ such that any two vertices of color $i$ are at distance at least $i+1$.

Precursor stoichiometry programs the surface chemistry of carbon dots, directing their self‐assembly into distinct aggregation modes. Aldehyde‐enriched surfaces form ordered, hydrogen‐bonded assemblies that enable bright red solid‐state fluorescence, whereas amine‐rich surfaces promote compact π–π stacked aggregates with broadband visible‐light ...

Two spirobisanthracene‐tetraphenylethene (SBA‐TPE) hybrid compounds are synthesized and their photophysical properties in the solid state reported. Circularly polarized luminescence in aggregates, films and dispersions is evaluated. Circularly polarized luminescence imaging is evaluated over crystals revealing discrimination of different types of ...

The packing chromatic number of the square lattice is at least 12
The packing chromatic number $χ_ρ(G)$ of a graph $G$ is the smallest integer $k$ such that the vertex set $V(G)$ can be partitioned into disjoint classes $X_1, ..., X_k$, where vertices in $X_i$ have pairwise distance greater than $i$. For the 2-dimensional square lattice $\mathbb{Z}^2$ it is proved that $χ_ρ(\mathbb{Z}^2) \geq 12$, which improves the ...

This study demonstrates, for the first time, the use of a large‐format high‐pressure press to modify synthesized Li2SrSiO4:Eu2+,Cs+ phosphors after its preparation. The pressure treatment results in the formation of new materials with distinctive optical properties, opening pathways for the development of advanced LED devices and high‐performance ...

ABSTRACT The shift from point‐based thermal sensing to filter‐free thermal imaging requires luminescent thermometers that exhibit pronounced and thermally driven spectral changes within spectral regions matching the sensitivity profiles of the red, green and blue (RGB) channels of a digital camera.

We report photostable, photoluminescent deep eutectic solvents (DESs) powered by in situ‐formed zero‐dimensional (0D) halometallates. Stabilized by microenvironment‐controlling hydrogen bond acceptor (HBA) and donor (HBD) networks, these DESs exhibit vibrant, metal ion‐tunable emission (PLQY = 60.2%).
