Growth and physiology of ornamental sunflower under salinity in function of paclobutrazol application methods

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Engenharia Agrícola e Ambiental, 2021
The ornamental sunflower has great importance in the floriculture sector due to the color and vitality of its flowers. However, the production and quality of flowers decrease under salt stress, which can be mitigated with paclobutrazol application.

HEIGHT CONTROL OF CALADIUMS WITH PACLOBUTRAZOL

open access: yesHortScience, 1993
Experiments were conducted in the Spring of 1991 and 1992 to evaluate the efficacy of paclobutrazol and uniconazole drench and spray applications on the tall-growing Caladium × hortulanum (Birdsey) cultivars Aaron, White Christmas, and Carolyn Whorton. Uniconazole was not more active than paclobutrazol on caladiums as has been observed on other species.

Strawberry Growth and Photosynthetic Responses to Paclobutrazol [PDF]

open access: yesHortScience, 1991
Foliar sprays of increasing concentrations (0, 75, 150, 300, 600, and 1200 mg·liter-1) of paclobutrazol were applied to `Cardinal' strawberry plants (Fragaria × ananassa Duch.) 35 days after transplanting. The plants were established in August in cultivated plots for measurement of paclobutrazol effects on first year growth or in a double-row hill ...

Paclobutrazol Spray Timing Influences Apple Tree Growth [PDF]

open access: yesHortScience, 1990
A single foliar spray of 250 mg paclobutrazol/liter was applied to 7-year-old `Oregon Spur Delicious' (OSD) or `Smoothee Golden Delicious' (SGD) apple trees (Malus domestica Borkh.) at 12 growth stages between tight cluster and petal fall plus 28 days. A linear increase in fruit length and length: diameter ratio and a linear decrease in percent soluble

Nano/Micro‐Engineered Hydrogel Carriers for Sustainable Agriculture: Bridging Structural Form to Field Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, Volume 10, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Hydrogels are 3D polymeric networks that can absorb and retain significant amounts of water and exhibit physical properties such as swelling and contraction in response to changes in the external environment. Owing to these unique physicochemical properties, hydrogels have attracted interest as effective solutions to key challenges in modern ...

Effects of paclobutrazol’s pre-treatment on cold tolerance induction in soybean seedling (Glycine max L.)

open access: yesItalian Journal of Agronomy, 2018
Paclobutrazol is one of the growth regulators in plants. It is from the Triazoles group, which can protect plants from all kinds of tension. In order to investigate the effect of cold stress and paclobutrazol on physiological characteristics of soybean ...
