Safety and Tolerability of Givinostat: Evidence From Real‐World and Clinical Practice

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective The aim of our study was to establish the prevalence of adverse events in a real‐world setting in boys living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) treated with givinostat as part of an Expanded Access Program (EAP) in Italy. Methods The cohort included 90 ambulant boys, with age when treatment started between 6 and 23 years (mean ...

Mitochondria‐Targeting Moieties Based on N‐Tethered Pyridinium Cations

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Pyridinium cations were benchmarked as mitochondria‐targeting moieties in a panel of N‐tethered fluorescent‐, bioactive‐, and inert‐cargo conjugates. 3,5‐Diphenylpyridinium (DPPy+) is a competent triphenylphosphonium (TPP+) surrogate, combining high mitochondria‐targeting efficiency with lower intrinsic effects on mitochondrial function.

Mycophenolate Mofetil Treatment Reduces the Risk of Treatment Escalation Due to Vascular Complications in Limited Cutaneous Systemic Sclerosis: Emulation of a Target Trial From the Italian Rheumatology Society SPRING Registry

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) is relatively uncommon because of the lower fibrotic burden and the predominance of vascular complications. In vitro observations and clinical data from transplanted patients suggest a protective effect of MMF on endothelial function.

Zein‐Based Adhesives: Sustainable Extraction and Application in Bioadhesive Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Zein is extracted from corn gluten meal using a simple and scalable process with high yield (~90%). The resulting protein is applied in bioadhesives modified with Ca2+ and Fe3+ ions, exhibiting substrate‐dependent adhesion. The findings demonstrate competitive bonding performance and highlight the role of ionic interactions in tuning adhesion ...

Phosphoryl Radicals from Trivalent Iminyl Phosphines: A Photocatalytic Approach to N‐Phosphoryl Azetidines

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Photochemically generated phosphoryl radicals from iminyl phosphines enable strain‐release addition to azabicyclobutanes, providing access to elusive N‐phosphoryl azetidines. Combined experimental, computational, and EPR studies reveal an unconventional water‐assisted photoredox pathway.

After Mantegna’s year. References, finisheds, balances

open access: yesAnales de Historia del Arte, 2007

Promoting Healthier Drinking: Evidence From a Vignette Experiment on Contextual and Informational Drivers of Dealcoholized Wine Choices

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Growing demand for healthier beverages is driving innovation in the wine sector, with dealcoholized wine emerging as a promising alternative. However, little is known about the contextual conditions under which consumers would choose dealcoholized wine, particularly in countries with strong wine traditions. To fill this gap, this work examines
