Paenibacillus oleatilyticus sp. nov., isolated from soil
Archives of Microbiology, 2022A gram-stain-negative, endo-spore forming, facultatively anaerobic, motile, rod-shaped bacterial strain SM69T, isolated from soil samples of Rohtak, Haryana, India was characterized using polyphasic approach. White colonies were 2-3 mm, in diameter and growth occurred between 20 and 55 °C, pH 6.0-10.0 with 0-2.0% (w/v) NaCl.

Paenibacillus agri sp. nov., isolated from soil
International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, 2021A strict aerobic bacterium, strain JW14T was isolated from soil in the Republic of Korea. Cells were Gram-stain-positive, non-endospore-forming and motile rods showing catalase-positive and oxidase-negative activities. Growth of strain JW14T was observed at 20–37 °C (optimum, 30 °C), pH 6.0–10.0 (optimum, pH 7.0) and in the presence of 0–2.0% NaCl ...

Paenibacillus caseinilyticus sp. nov., isolated forest soil
International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, 2023A milky-white-coloured, aerobic, Gram-stain-positive, rod-shaped and motile bacterial strain (GW78T) was isolated from forest soil. GW78T was catalase-positive and oxidase-negative. The strain was able to grow optimally at 37 °C and at pH 7.0 in Reasoner's 2A media.

Two Gram-stain-positive, aerobic, endospore-forming bacterial strains, isolated from the rhizosphere of Zea mays were studied for their detailed taxonomic allocation. Based on 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity comparisons, both strains JJ-7T and JJ-60T were shown to be members of the genus Paenibacillus

Paenibacillus insulae sp. nov., isolated from soil
Journal of Microbiology, 2015A Gram-stain-positive, motile, endospore-forming, and strictly aerobic rod-shaped bacterium designated DS80(T) was isolated from an island soil. The strain DS80(T) grew at temperatures between 15 and 40°C (optimum = 30°C) and at pH values ranging from 5.0 to 9.0 (optimum = 7.0).

Current Microbiology, 2021A bacterial strain, designated 5J-6T, was isolated from soil in Cheongnyeongpo, Republic of Korea. Cells were Gram-stain-positive, strictly aerobic, and motile rods and their catalase and oxidase activities were positive. Strain 5J-6T grew at 10-30 °C, pH 6.0-9.0, and 0-0.8% (w/v) NaCl concentration, with optimum growth at 25 °C, pH 6.5, and 0.4% NaCl ...

Two Gram-stain-positive, rod-shaped, endospore-forming bacteria, designated 12200R-189T and 14171R-81T were isolated from the rhizosphere of tomato plants. The 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity between strains 12200R-189T and 14171R-81T were 97.2%. Both strains showed the highest 16S rRNA gene sequence similarities to Paenibacillus sacheonensis SY01T ...
