Betanin Promotes Wound Closure and Drives a Context‐Specific Transcriptional Repair Program in HaCaT Keratinocytes: A Multi‐Evidence AI‐Guided Prioritization Study

open access: yesBioFactors, Volume 52, Issue 5, September/October 2026.
Betanin increased the first‐order scratch‐wound closure rate constant in HaCaT keratinocytes by approximately 1.5‐fold and selectively modulated barrier, inflammatory, and remodeling‐related genes. However, GEO‐, STRING‐, and KEGG‐derived features failed to predict the observed transcriptional pattern, indicating that existing wound‐healing knowledge ...

From Source Code to Cost: A Multilingual, Cost‐Aware Runtime Prediction Framework for Multi‐Cloud FaaS

open access: yesConcurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, Volume 38, Issue 17, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Predicting the runtime and cost of Function‐as‐a‐Service (FaaS) applications remains challenging in multi‐cloud environments due to variations in code complexity, workload characteristics, and provider‐specific behaviors. This paper presents an extended version of the Orama Framework that advances runtime prediction toward a multilingual and ...

An Adaptive Reordered Method for Computing PageRank

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
We propose an adaptive reordered method to deal with the PageRank problem. It has been shown that one can reorder the hyperlink matrix of PageRank problem to calculate a reduced system and get the full PageRank vector through forward substitutions.

Accelerating Node Influence Computation via Integration of Strongly Connected Component Assignment and Reachability Computation

open access: yesConcurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, Volume 38, Issue 18, September 2026.
ABSTRACT We study the problem of efficiently computing the influence of all nodes under the SIR model. In our previous work, we proposed the burn‐Out extracted LC (BELC) technique and combined it with existing techniques to develop the BSRM method. In this paper, we propose two new methods, BS and BI.

Trophic and Environmental Generalists Maintain Pollinator Network Functional Continuity by Switching Modules Through Time

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 9, September 2026.
By linking niche breadth to temporal pollination networks, we move beyond documenting dynamics to reveal the functional processes that maintain network persistence. Our findings directly identify the versatile generalist species that are vital for stability, offering clear priorities for conservation in a changing climate.
