Abstract The patch dynamics of foundation species profoundly affects community assembly and thus has important implications for ecosystem restoration. However, it is unclear how restored kelp patches that vary in size and density will influence the establishment of mid‐trophic level (MTL) macroinvertebrates, a key functional group in coastal ecosystems.

New records of decapod crustaceans from the coast of Sergipe state, Brazil [PDF]
The objective of this study is to report seven decapod crustacean species for the first time from Sergipe state, northeastern Brazil. The specimens were sampled from January 2012 to June 2015, on continental shelf and estuaries.
