Scissors congruence K$K$‐theory for equivariant manifolds

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract We introduce a scissors congruence K$K$‐theory spectrum that lifts the equivariant scissors congruence groups for compact G$G$‐manifolds with boundary, and we show that on π0$\pi _0$, this is the source of a spectrum‐level lift of the Burnside ring‐valued equivariant Euler characteristic of a compact G$G$‐manifold.

Ramified Asymptotic Expansions for Some Linear Initial Value Problem With Mahler Transforms

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
We focus on a linear partial differential initial value problem in complex time t and complex space combined with time acting Mahler transforms. Bounded holomorphic solutions on bounded sectors edged at the origin in time and on horizontal strips in space are constructed by means of infinite sums of Fourier–Laplace transforms.

First Integral and General Solution of the Reduced Nonlinear Third-Order Differential Equation with a Nonlinear Source

open access: yesMathematics
We consider a generalization of the modified Korteweg–de Vries–Burgers equation with a nonlinear source. Using the Painlevé test for partial differential equation with the Kruskal variable, we show that the corresponding Cauchy problem cannot be solved ...

Dynamical Behavior and Chaotic Nature of M‐Fractional Paraxial Wave Equation With Three Analytical Methods

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This research work provides a comprehensive investigation of the M‐fractional paraxial wave equation (M‐fPWE) in describing complex optical phenomena in telecommunication systems and nonlinear media, focusing on the dynamical analysis of optical soliton solutions, the impact of M‐fractional parameters, stability, multistability, and the chaotic nature ...

Noncommutative Toda chains, Hankel quasideterminants and the Painlevé II equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We construct solutions of an infinite Toda system and an analog of the Painlevé II equation over noncommutative differential division rings in terms of quasideterminants of Hankel ...

q-Painlevé equation from Virasoro constraints

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
The q-Painlevé equation, satisfied by the Fourier transform of the q-Virasoro conformal blocks at c=1, is interpreted as a reformulation of the string equation and two other Virasoro constraints in the 5d Dotsenko–Fateev matrix model.

Impact of the Properties of Microstructured Solids on the Propagation of Hybrid Solitary Waves

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Microstructured solids exhibit complex wave propagation dynamics due to the interplay between nonlinearity, dispersion, dissipation, and higher‐order spatiotemporal effects induced by their internal architecture. In this work, we investigate how these properties influence the propagation of hybrid solitary waves governed by a generalized strain‐wave ...

Generalization of Okamoto's Equation to Arbitrary 2×2 Schlesinger System

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2009
The 2×2 Schlesinger system for the case of four regular singularities is equivalent to the Painlevé VI equation. The Painlevé VI equation can in turn be rewritten in the symmetric form of Okamoto's equation; the dependent variable in Okamoto's form of ...

Stability: Conservation laws, Painlevé analysis and exact solutions for S-KP equation in coupled dusty plasma

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2017
The propagation of nonlinear waves in unmagnetized strongly coupled dusty plasma with Boltzmann distributed electrons, iso-nonthermal distributed ions and negatively charged dust grains is considered.
