MAP decoding for multi-antenna systems with non-uniform sources: exact pairwise error probability and applications [PDF]
We study the maximum a posteriori (MAP) decoding of memoryless non-uniform sources over multiple-antenna channels. Our model is general enough to include space-time coding, BLAST architectures, and single-transmit multi-receive antenna systems which employ any type of channel coding.

White Matter and Perivascular Imaging Changes in Alzheimer's Disease and Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy
ABSTRACT Objective Peak‐width of skeletonized mean diffusivity (PSMD) and diffusion tensor imaging–analysis along the perivascular space (DTI‐ALPS), reflecting white matter integrity and glymphatic function, are altered in Alzheimer's disease (AD).

Digitalizing electroplating requires both domain knowledge and interoperability. This work introduces PlatOn, a domain ontology for trivalent chromium plating and coating characterization, and a hybrid pipeline that aligns it to a mid‐level reference ontology by combining eight similarity metrics with language model reasoning. Expert‐validated mappings

Diversity Techniques for Single-Carrier Packet Retransmissions over Frequency-Selective Channels
In data packet communication systems over multipath frequency-selective channels, hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) protocols are usually used in order to ensure data reliability.

The moment generating function method previously proposed by the author for the analysis of uncoded and coded digital communication over fading channels using only a single transmitter is applied to provide a simple exact evaluation of the pairwise error probability (PEP) for space-time coded systems with multiple transmitters.

Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

Correlated Charge Transport in an Organic Coulomb Glass
ABSTRACT Advances in the development of organic field‐effect transistors (OFETs), electrically gated organic semiconductors (EGOFETs), and organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) allow for the operation of these devices at very high charge‐carrier densities, where Coulomb interactions between carriers can be expected to become significant.
