Evaluating the Antimicrobial and Antibiofilm Efficacy of Lavender Essential Oil and Linalool on Dual Candida albicans Biofilms With Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis From Canine External Otitis

The minimum inhibitory concentration of antimicrobial and anti‐biofilm activity of lavender essential oil (LEO) was determined. LEO exhibited robust antimicrobial and anti‐biofilm activity against clinically relevant Staphylococcus spp. and Candida albicans (C. albicans), including both planktonic and biofilm forms.
