Revision of the Palaearctic Embolemidae (Hymenoptera)

The Palaearctic species of the family Embolemidae (Hymenoptera: Chrysidoidea) are revised. In all nine species are recognized in the genus Embolemus Westwood, 1833 s.l., two are new to science: Embolemus reticulatus spec. nov. from The Netherlands and E. niger spec. nov. from Bhutan. The genus Ampulicomorpha Ashmead, 1893, is synonymized with Embolemus
