Palaeovegetational and palaeoenvironmental changes since the last deglacial in Gonghe Basin, northeast Tibetan Plateau

Journal of Geographical Sciences, 2013
Paleoenvironmental history in the monsoonal margin in the northeast Tibetan Pla- teau provides important clue to the regional climate. Previous researches have been limited by either poor chronology or low resolution. Here we present a high-resolution pollen record from a 40.92-m-long sediment core (DLH) taken from Dalianhai, a terminal lake situated ...

Mid- and late-Holocene sedimentary process and palaeovegetation changes near the mouth of the Amazon River

The Holocene, 2011
The integration of sedimentary facies, pollen, spores, carbon and nitrogen isotopes records, C/N ratio and radiocarbon dates allowed the identification of changes in vegetation and the sources of organic matter accumulated on tidal flats near the mouth of the Amazon River during the mid and late Holocene.

Palaeovegetation and plate tectonics: palaeophytogeography of North China during permian and triassic times

Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology, 1985
Abstract New evidence concerning the palaeovegetation of the upper Permian and lower Triassic Shischienfeng Group in North China reveals two distinctive floras: a Zechstein-type vegetation in the lower part and a Buntsandstein-type flora in the middle and upper parts.

Palaeovegetation at the Pont-de-Lavaud hominin site, lower Pleistocene, Central France

2011

Palynostratigraphic, palaeovegetational and palaeoclimatic investigations on the Miocene deposits in Central Anatolia (Çorum region and Sivas Basin)

2008
Palynostratigraphy of the Neogene coal-bearing sediments in the Çorum region and Sivas Basin has been determined and three sporomorph associations have been defined. Sporomorph association A is described from the Samsun-Havza region and is of latest Burdigalian age.

Palaeovegetational and Palaeoclimatic Changes During the Early Miocene in Central Taurus, Turkey

2017
This study presents palynological records from the Ermenek Basin during the Early Miocene to evaluate paleoenvironmentalchanges. The pollen spectra was dominated by coniferous trees during this time period. Especially, Cedrus was abundant inErmenek flora and cedars occupied on the mountain areas with Abies and Picea, indicating cooler climate in the ...
