An EEG artefact in palatal myoclonus

Abstract Two instances of palatal myoclonus are discussed with a similar finding in the EEG. It is suggested that the finding of a spike potential with a frequency of 150–180/min., best seen in the monopolar to ear leads, and continuing in sleep should suggest the presence of this disorder.
