Audio-Magnetotelluric Modeling of Cimandiri Fault Zone at Cibeber, Cianjur [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
DOI: 10.17014/ijog.4.1.39-47The characteristic of Cimandiri Fault Zone has not been completely defined despite plenty of studies had already been accomplished. Therefore, an audio-magnetotelluric modeling was carried out.

Mesozoic paleostress evolution in the Saharian platform (southern Tunisia)

open access: yesGeodinamica Acta, 1993
AbstractA detailed analysis of brittle deformations in the Saharian platform of southern Tunisia is based on studies of fault-slip data sets and joint sets. It allows reconstruction of the Mesozoic paleostress evolution. During the Permo-Triassic, N-S extensions occurred with high late Permian subsidence rates.

Analisis Dinamik Tegasan Purba pada Satuan Batuan Paleogen – Neogen di Daerah Pacitan dan Sekitarnya, Provinsi Jawa Timur Ditinjau dari Studi Sesar Minor dan Kekar Tektonik

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical and Fundamental Sciences, 2013
There are four trends of geological structures in the region of Pacitan and its closed surrounding, as the result of the tectonic deformation which occured during the Tertiary up to Quaternary.

Geological factors and fracture distribution in deep and ultra-deep sandstones in Kuqa Depression, Tarim Basin, China [PDF]

open access: yesSolid Earth
Deep (> 4500 m) and ultra-deep (> 6000 m) sandstone reservoirs hold great potential for hydrocarbon resources, yet complex geological challenges hinder the successful exploitation of oil and gas.
