Advanced Cancer Immunotherapy via SMARCAL1 Blockade Using a Glucose‐Responsive CRISPR Nanovaccine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A glucose‐catalyzed chemodynamic strategy is proposed to activate therapeutic genome editing of SMARCAL1to improve cancer immunotherapy. This innovative design featuring Fenton reaction activity and glucose consumption ability, not only effectively synergizes to activate the cGAS‐STING pathway but also inhibits the opposing functions of interferon by ...

ChromInSight: Revealing DNA Double‐Strand Breaks Through Chromatin Structural Insights With an Interpretable Graph Neural Network Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
DSBs are the most critical genomic lesions. Using the ChromInSight framework, It is revealed that 3D chromatin structure, rather than linear distance, shapes cluster‐scene between hub‐Nodes and DSB loci. The “spatial isolation–damage containment” hypothesis is proposed to illustrate how the genome responds to genomic damage and offer a powerful tool ...

Palindromic-Type Palindromes - I

open access: yes, 2019
In the previous papers, the author worked with palindromic-type expressions. These expressions are by use of operations addition and multiplications. When the operations are removed, we get normal even order palindromes. In the previous works, it is limited to particular cases including patterns. The final sum is either palindromic or non palindromic.

Subgenome Partitioning and Polyploid Genome Evolution in the Loach Family Botiidae (Order Cypriniformes)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates subgenome evolution and polyploidy in Cypriniformes fish, revealing complex phylogenetic relationships and genomic dynamics. By applying advanced subgenome partitioning methods, it uncovers novel insights into transposon activity and gene fractionation.

Homeostasis of DNA Hemi‐Methylation in Arabidopsis through Methylation Maintenance, DNA Replication, and Nucleosome Positioning Mechanisms

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In Arabidopsis, the homeostasis of full‐ and hemi‐methylation is mainly regulated by maintenance methylation. The maintenance methylation at hemi‐methylated dyads is highly efficient but the efficiency differs at euchromatic or heterochromatic regions. Nucleosomes impair the hemi‐ to full‐methylation transition. Lagged methylation maintenance after DNA

On the number of episturmian palindromes

open access: yesTheoretical Computer Science, 2010
AbstractEpisturmian words are a suitable generalization to arbitrary alphabets of Sturmian words. In this paper we are interested in the problem of enumerating the palindromes in all episturmian words over a k-letter alphabet Ak. We give a formula for the map gk giving for any n the number of all palindromes of length n in all episturmian words over Ak.

Genetic Evidence Supporting a Role for Brain Region Volume and Functional Network Alterations in Major Depression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Genome‐wide analyses indicate that reduced ventral diencephalon and thalamus volumes, along with decreased functional connectivity within the triple network (DMN/CEN/SN), are uniquely associated with the risk of major depression (MD) onset, compared to other similar severe psychiatric disorders.
