Pollen record of the Late Pleistocene-Holocene stratigraphic sequence and current plant biodiversity from Grotta Mora Cavorso (Simbruini Mountains, Central Italy). [PDF]
A palynological study from the sediment deposits of Mora Cavorso Cave is presented. The stratigraphic layers dated back from the Late Pleistocene to the entire Holocene. Pollen analysis revealed a changing environment in the upper Aniene River Valley.

River connectivity and climate behind the long-term evolution of tropical American floodplain lakes. [PDF]
We present a multi‐proxy approach on short sedimentary cores form two neotropical flood plain lakes associated with the Magdalena River, Colombia, to study temporal variation in diatoms, sediment geochemistry and climate. We proposed that lake hydrological connectivity to the Magdalena River is a main factor controlling lake long‐term responses to ...

The precision land knowledge of the past enables tailor-made environment therapy and empathy for nature [PDF]
The uniqueness of each environmental context urgently requires a new vision of environmental and health protection. We propose a new view of environmental diseases that focuses on the value of the individual locality rather than on the generalisations ...
