The systems palladium - indium and palladium - tin
Journal of the Less Common Metals, 1959Abstract The equilibrium diagrams of palladium-indium and palladium-tin alloys have been investigated by thermal analysis, metallographic and X-ray methods. Intermediate phases based on Pd 3 In, Pd 2 In, PdIn, Pd 2 In 3 and PdIn 3 have been found in the palladium-indium system and phases Pd 3 Sn, Pd 2 Sn, Pd 3 Sn 2 , PdSn, Pd 3 Sn 4 , and PdSn 2 in

Palladium-Catalyzed Alkynylation
Chemical Reviews, 2003A brief overview of the scope of the four major protocols with respect to the electrophilic cross-coupling partners is presented in somewhat irrespective of relative merit and demerits among these protocols. Thus, some noteworthy recent advances in which more critical comparisons among the four protocols mentioned will made are discussed.

Hydrogen in palladium and palladium alloys
International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, 1996Abstract Over more than the past four decades, Ewald Wicke has been both a direct and indirect dominant personality within the overall area of research of hydrogen in metals, including in particular the fields of study involved with hydrogen in palladium and palladium alloys.

The resistance of palladium and palladium-gold alloys
Proceedings of the Physical Society, 1937Measurements of the electrical resistances of palladium and four alloys of palladium and gold have been made from liquid oxygen temperature to about 1000°C. It is found that the variation of resistance with temperature for these alloys resembles that of constantan for compositions up to about 60 atoms per cent of gold, where there is a change over to ...

Mechanical properties of palladium and palladium hydride
Scripta Metallurgica et Materialia, 1992Interest in the mechanical properties of the Pd-H system stems from its role as a model metal hydride as well as from its potential practical utility. The attractiveness of palladium hydride can be attributed, in part, to the high hydrogen mobility in Pd and the relative lack of absorption barriers such as stable surface oxides.

Paramagnetostriction of palladium and palladium-rhodium alloys
Journal of Physics F: Metal Physics, 1982The longitudinal and transverse magnetostriction of single-crystal Pd and three PdRh alloys was measured. The volume magnetostriction was found to increase as Rh was added to Pd up to a maximum value about a factor of four larger than that of Pd at about 5 at.% Rh in Pd.
