Paleocene palustrine and ephemeral alluvial facies in southern Sardinia (Italy)
Italian Journal of Geosciences, 2015Paleocene ephemeral alluvial and palustrine deposits have been recognized in several small outcrops in southern Sardinia. Three sedimentary units have been distinguished: the basal one, mainly terrigenous, made up of alluvial pedogenized deposits, the intermediate one, entirely carbonate, made up of pedogenized fresh water deposits, and the third one ...

Konstitution der Dihydropalustraminsäure und Bemerkungen zur Struktur des Palustrins
Helvetica Chimica Acta, 1968Durch Hofmann'schen Abbau, Hydrierung und Hydrolyse wurde aus dem Alkaloid Dihydropalustrin die Dihydropalustraminsäure. C10H19NO3. rein hergestellt.

Autogenic Microbial Genesis of Middle Miocene Palustrine Ooids; Nullarbor Plain, Australia
Journal of Sedimentary Research, 2012Abstract Miocene palustrine ooids located in the Nullarbor Plain, southern Australia, illustrate the importance of microbes and soil processes in the formation of these spherically laminated grains in pedogenic settings. These particles are composed of dense minimicrite and include a wide assortment of microbially produced structures.

A new species of palustrine Eleutherodactylus (Anura: Leptodactylidae) from Puerto Rico
Zootaxa, 2007We describe adult morphology, advertisement call, and natural history diagnostic of a new species of Eleutherodactylus from a fresh water (palustrine) herbaceous wetland of northern coastal Puerto Rico. The new species is apparently the smallest Puerto Rican Eleutherodactylus and is morphologically most similar to E.

Flood Tolerance Indices for Palustrine Forest Species
1988Since a definite relationship exists between plant species distribution and timing, frequency and duration of inundation/soil saturation (Bedinger, 1971; Hook and Scholtens, 1978; Whitlow and Harris, 1979; Huffman, 1980; Larson, Bedinger, Bryan, Brown, Huffman, Miller, Rhodes and Touchet, 1981), it should be possible numerically to express the optimum ...

The stereoselective synthesis of (-)-methyl palustramate, a possible intermediate for the synthesis of (+)-palustrine, is described. The key step of the synthesis is a conformationally restricted Claisen rearrangement to afford the highly functionalized 1-benzylpipecolic ester 10.
