Palynology
This paper compiles and correlates for the first time Cretaceous to Eocene palynostratigraphies across the Arctic. It focuses on Greenland and adjacent areas, including the Labrador–Baffin Seaway, onshore Nuussuaq Basin in central West Greenland, onshore

Late‐Glacial radiocarbon‐ and palynostratigraphy on the Swiss Plateau
Boreas, 1989A detailed late‐glacial radiocarbon stratigraphy for the Swiss Plateau has been established on the basis of over 90 accelerator14C dates on terrestrial plant macrofossils. Two plateaux of constant.,14C age were observed, occurring at 12,700 B.P. and at 10,000 B.P. The consequences of these plateaux for palaeo‐ecological investigations are threefold: (1)

Lower Jurassic palynostratigraphy of Eastern Siberia
Stratigraphy and Geological Correlation, 2017This paper presents the results of a palynological study of the natural outcrops of the Lower and Middle Jurassic on the Kelimyar River (Outcrops 5, 6, 7, 14, and 16) and two boreholes, Middle-Nakynskaya and Ygyata-Tyungskaya 1, in Eastern Siberia. The Ukugut, Tyung, Motorchuna, Suntar, Kyrin, and Kelimyar formations were studied.

Paleogene palynostratigraphy of the eastern middle Magdalena Valley, Colombia
Palynology, 2003Abstract This work presents a detailed study of the pollen and spore distribution in the Paleocene‐Eocene Lisama and La Paz Formations on the eastern border of the Middle Magdalena Valley, Colombia. One hundred and forty‐seven samples obtained from cores and outcrops were prepared for palynological research, fifty‐nine of which were rich in pollen and ...

Palynostratigraphy of the Upper Cretaceous in Hungary
Cretaceous Research, 1993Abstract Within the territory of Hungary four sedimentologically different sequences can be distinguished in the Senonian: the Transdanubian Central Range, the 'Gosau', the flysch and the southern Great Hungarian Plain. The most continuous Central Range sedimentary succession can be referred, on the basis of palynology, to the Upper Sanionian-Upper ...

Early pleistocene palynostratigraphy of fornace tini, Valle Ricca (Central Italy)
Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology, 1983Abstract Pollen assemblages of a well-dated marine section, Fornace Tini in Central Italy, were studied. The section covers a time-span of about 300,000 years between 2.1 m.y. (Reunion event) and 1.8 m.y. ago (Olduvai event). Assuming a constant sedimentation rate, intervals of 3000 to 6000 years were sampled.

Palynostratigraphy and Paleoenvironment of Afikpo Well_3, Afikpo Syncline, Nigeria
ABUAD International Journal of Natural and Applied SciencesThe Afikpo Syncline constitutes the western segment of the southern part of the Benue Trough. The syncline orients in the northeast-southwest direction and unconformably overlies the pre-Santonian strata of the Benue Trough.

Palynostratigraphy of upper Paleozoic sequences in central‐western Argentina
Palynology, 2000Lower Carboniferous to Permian palynological zones are described from sections in central–western Argentina. In ascending stratigraphic order these zones are: (1) the Cordylosporites– Verrucosisporites (CV) Assemblage Biozone (spanning the Maliman and Cortaderas formations); (2) the Raistrickia densa– Convolutispora muriornata (DM) Assemblage Biozone ...

Palynostratigraphy in Phanerozoic and Precambrian Metamorphic Rocks
1992A review is presented on the current state of palynological research in metamorphic rocks. Recent studies have shown that organic-walled microfossils may be structurally preserved in rocks of the greenschist facies and even those of the lower amphibolite facies from where they can be separated by a special maceration procedure.
