Skin and leucocyte cultures from two animals at San Diego Zoo were used, the karyotypes came from lymphocytes. The Y is not fluorescent with the quinacrine technique. The satellites of elements 13, 14, 15, 22, 23 exhibit strong fluorescence. In the female one of the #23 chromosomes consistently lacked satellites. The animal is normal.
