ABSTRACT Background and Methods Surgery remains the standard of care for non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) but is applicable to ≤ 30% of patients. Pulsed Electric Fields (PEF) ablation uses short‐duration, high‐voltage electrical pulses to induce cell death without relying on thermal mechanisms.

An investigation into inter- and intragenomic variations of graphic genomic signatures [PDF]
We provide, on an extensive dataset and using several different distances, confirmation of the hypothesis that CGR patterns are preserved along a genomic DNA sequence, and are different for DNA sequences originating from genomes of different species.

Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Malignant Pericardial Mesothelioma
ABSTRACT Primary malignant pericardial mesothelioma (PMPM), a rare pericardium‐derived malignancy, urgently requires standardized diagnostic and therapeutic protocols. This consensus, established by the Chinese Alliance of Research for Mesothelioma (ChARM) through the integration of evidence‐based research and multicenter clinical expertise, addresses ...

On linearity of pan-integral and pan-integrable functions space [PDF]
$L\sp{p}$ space is a crucial aspect of classical measure theory. For nonadditive measure, it is known that $L\sp{p}$ space theory holds for the Choquet integral whenever the monotone measure $\mu$ is submodular and continuous from below. The main purpose of this paper is to generalize $L\sp{p}$ space theory to $+,\cdot$-based pan-integral.

This paper takes a retrospective look at the changes in the extent of the Congo forest and great ape habitat in the past 20 years. The data and method used in this study are novel. This produced the very first Central Africa ‐specific oil palm extent and forest change dynamics, highlighting a great ape habitat and species range decline.

Partially-averaged Navier-Stokes (PANS) Method for Turbulence Simulations: Near-wall Modeling and Smooth-surface Separation Computations [PDF]
The goal of this dissertation is to investigate the PANS model capabilities in providing significant improvement over RANS predictions at slightly higher computational expense and producing LES quality results at significantly lower computational cost.

Resource managers require accurate estimates of large herbivore abundance and demography to maintain ecological integrity. Common methods to count these species, including observations from low altitude helicopter flights, may conflict with other protected area management objectives and struggle to produce precise estimates for more cryptic species. Victorian Women and the Gendering of Mountaineering in the Alps
ABSTRACT This article explores the gendered segregation of Victorian mountaineering, highlighting how societal norms sought to confine women to passive roles within the alpine landscape. As Elizabeth Le Blond declared, ‘there is no manlier sport in the world than mountaineering’, encapsulating the pervasive attitudes of the era.

Abstract Wild bees (Hymenoptera: Anthophila) are important pollinators and essential for maintaining ecosystem health. The majority of bee species are ground‐nesting, and all bees spend most of their lifetime inside the nest. Still, most studies and monitoring schemes assess wild bees during flower visitation, allowing no conclusion about their nest ...
