This study explores how Iban cultural beliefs in Indonesian Borneo influence the protection and distribution of strangler figs, keystone tree species with spiritual significance. Despite agricultural expansion, sacred perceptions lead to the conservation of large figs across both forests and farmland mosaics.

Utilizing ERP technology, this study investigated the impact of childhood maltreatment on affect labeling. Despite exhibiting generally lower levels of emotional arousal, young adults with a history of childhood maltreatment were found to employ affect labeling to regulate their emotions.

Daily Consumption of Kombucha Influences the Urinary and Plasma Metabolome in a Healthy Human Cohort

An 8‐week randomized, double‐blind trial tested daily canned kombucha intake (330 mL) in healthy adults. Urinary metabolomics revealed increased polyphenol‐ and fermentation‐related metabolites, while plasma analysis showed reduced acetic acid and slightly lower isoButyric acid.
