Establishment of Panax notoginseng tissue culture.

Calli were induced from Panax notoginseng roots, tubers, stems, petioles, leaves, and flower buds, and preliminary identification of medicinal compounds in the callus was carried out by TLC, using subcultured sixth-generation calli.
