The pre‐internalization phase of endocytosis remains poorly characterized at single‐cell levels. Single‐cell pre‐internalization mechanics are investigated using advanced robotic techniques. Cancer cells exhibit biphasic adhesion – rapid initial binding followed by reinforcement – while fibroblasts show gradual engagement.

Pancreatic pseudocyst in a 4-year-old child
Pancreatic pseudocyst is a localized fluid collection that is rich in amylase and other pancreatic enzymes and is surrounded by a wall of fibrous tissue. Pseudocysts are connected to the pancreatic ductal system, through the pancreatic parenchyma.

Biomaterial Strategies for Targeted Intracellular Delivery to Phagocytes
Phagocytes are essential to a functional immune system, and their behavior defines disease outcomes. Engineered particles offer a strategic opportunity to target phagocytes, harnessing inflammatory modulation in disease. By tuning features like size, shape, and surface, these systems can modulate immune responses and improve targeted treatment for a ...

Pancreatic Hydatid Cyst Causing Acute Pancreatitis: A Case Report and Literature Review
Hydatidosis is a public health problem in endemic countries. Hydatid cysts are located usually in the liver and the lungs. Primary pancreatic hydatid cyst is in unusual location and rarely causes acute pancreatitis.

The Association of Choledochal Cyst and Pancreatitis: A Case Report and Review of the Literature
Choledochal cysts are relatively rare congenital anomalies which are characterized by dilatation of the extra-and/or intra-hepatic bile ducts. Pancreatic involvement before choledochal cyst operation might be a risk factor for postoperative pancreatitis.

Role of emerging molecular markers in pancreatic cyst fluid
Cystic lesions of the pancreas (CLPs) are increasingly diagnosed due to the growing utilization of cross-sectional imaging modalities. The differentiation between true cysts (epithelial tumors) and nonepithelial lesions (such as pseudocysts) relies on ...
