ABSTRACT Endoscopic biliary plastic stent (PS) insertion is standard for maintaining bile flow, but migration and dislodgement persist as important challenges. We developed the cross range flap stent (CRF stent), a 7 Fr, 7 cm straight‐type PS. Unlike conventional stents with flaps at both ends, the CRF stent features flaps and flap holes at the ...

The Role of Vagotomy in Pancreaticoduodenectomy
In a series of 41 pancreatoduodenectomies the Whipple procedure was done in 27 patients and total pancreatoduodenectomy in 14 others with two postoperative deaths. Among 39 survivors, seven developed evidence of stomal ulcer 20 days to six years after operation; details of their courses are summarized.
