DISTRIBUTION AND KINETICS OF 14C-VECURONIUM IN RATS AND MICE [PDF]
The distribution and kinetics of 14C-vecuronium were studied in rats and mice. 14C-Vecuronium accumulated rapidly in the liver. Both unchanged and metabolized vecuronium were excreted with the bile into the intestines and stomach. Reabsorption in the gut

Nanotherapeutics for Alleviating Anesthesia‐Associated Complications
Nanotechnology exhibits excellent performance in anesthesia‐associated toxicity via safety nano‐formulization design, alter their pharmacokinetics and higher pharmacodynamic activities of anesthetics toxicity. Abstract Current management of anesthesia‐associated complications falls short in terms of both efficacy and safety.

Transition on the entropic elasticity of DNA induced by intercalating molecules [PDF]
We use optical tweezers to perform stretching experiments on DNA molecules when interacting with the drugs daunomycin and ethidium bromide, which intercalate the DNA molecule. These experiments are performed in the low-force regime from zero up to 2 pN.

Avaliação cardiopulmonar e da centralização do globo ocular em cães com baixas doses de atracúrio mantidos em anestesia inalatória sob ventilação espontânea [PDF]
The objective was to determine the cardiopulmonary effects and eyeball centralization time obtained with 15 or 30µg kg-1 of atracurium in anesthetized dogs under spontaneous breathing.

Equine urine was processed using solid phase extraction on a weak cation exchange sorbent followed by detection using positive mode electrospray ionization on a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. The method was able to detect over 50 different substances including peptides and quaternary ammonium drugs.

Effect of Pancuronium Bromide on Acetylcholine Release
Pancuronium bromide had originally been shown by Buckett and Bonta in 1966 (1) and by Buckett et al. (2) in 1968 to have a nondepolarizing neuromuscular blocking action similar to curare. This was confirmed by Lewis et al. (3) in 1967. However, recently Sohn and Aldrete (4) have suggested that the drug might be acting presynaptically.

Colloidal quasi-2D Methylammonium Lead Bromide Perovskite Nanostructures with Tunable Shape and High Chemical Stability [PDF]
Control over the lateral dimensions of colloidal nanostructures is a complex task which requires a deep understanding of the formation mechanism and reactivity in the corresponding systems. As a result, it provides a well-founded insight to the physical and chemical properties of these materials.

High-speed Laser Micromachining with Copper Bromide Laser [PDF]
The application of the copper bromide (CuBr) laser as an attractive tool in the micro-machining of different materials has been demonstrated. High-quality drilling by trepanning and precision cutting was established on several materials with a negligible heat-affected zone (HAZ).

DOSE REQUIREMENTS AND PLASMA CONCENTRATIONS OF PIPECURONIUM DURING BILATERAL RENAL EXCLUSION AND ORTHOTOPIC LIVER TRANSPLANTATION IN PIGS [PDF]
We have studied five pigs undergoing bilateral clamping of the renal pedicles, seven pigs undergoing orthotopic liver transplantation and three control animals without surgery in order to examine the roles of the kidney and liver in the plasma clearance ...
