Evaluation of permethrin for attracticide development against Choristoneura rosaceana and Pandemis pyrusana (Lepidoptera : Tortricidae) males [PDF]
The behavioural effects on Choristoneura rosaceana Harris and Pandemis pyrusana Kearfott male moths of permethrin added into a grease matrix containing the female sex pheromone for each species (i.e. an attracticide) were studied.

Growing degree‐days do not explain moth species' distributions at broad scales
Abstract Growing degree‐days (GDD), an estimate of an organism's growing season length, has been shown to be an important predictor of Lepidopteran species' distributions and could be influencing Lepidopteran range shifts to climate change. Yet, one understudied simplification in this literature is that the same thermal threshold is used in the ...

The catch of tortricid moths to pheromone traps in apple orchards. Part I. Dynamics of moths flight
The studies were conducted in three apple orchards in the Lublin province in the years 1999–2001. Their purpose was to establish the flight dynamics of three species of leaf tortricids (Spilonota ocellana, Pandemis cerasana, Archips podana) on the basis ...

Appalachian golden‐winged warbler declines have been linked to breeding productivity, however, the factors that drive disparities in breeding output remain unknown. In two regions of Pennsylvania, the survival of eggs and older fledglings was similar, but nestlings and young fledglings were different.
