A new poolability test for cointegrated panels [PDF]

This paper proposes a new test of the null hypothesis that the parameters in a cointegrated panel data regression are equal across the cross-section. The asymptotic distribution of the new test statistic is derived and simulation results are provided to suggest that it performs very well in small samples.

A meta analytic approach to testing for panel cointegration [PDF]

We propose new tests for panel cointegration by extending the panel unit root of Choi [2001] and Maddala and Wu [1999] to the panel cointegration case. The tests are flexible, intuitively appealing and relatively easy to compute.
