Moderators of panel conditioning. A meta-analysis.
Panel Conditioning is a learning effect, that can endanger the representativeness and validity of results from panel studies. It describes the change in attitudes or behaviors themselves or the way they are reported due to the participation in former survey waves.

Respondent Conditioning in Online Panel Surveys
In this article, we investigate changes in survey reporting due to prior interviewing. Two field experiments were implemented in a probability-based online panel in which the order of the questionnaires was switched. Although experimental methods for studying panel conditioning are favorable, experiments in longitudinal studies are rare.

Does panel conditioning affect data quality in ego-centered social network questions? [PDF]
This article investigates the data quality of ego-centered social network modules in web surveys. It specifically examines whether these modules are subject to the effects of the repeated measurement of the same questions known as panel conditioning ...

Attitudes Over Time: The Psychology of Panel Conditioning
2009In this chapter, our focus is on panel conditioning with respect to attitude questions. Our methodological approach is different from the majority of previous studies in this area, in that we do not attempt to estimate biases in marginal and associational distributions through comparison with a fresh cross-sectional sample.

Using Person-Fit Measures to Assess the Impact of Panel Conditioning on Reliability
Panel conditioning has posed one of the main challenges to panel studies since their inception in the social sciences. Aside from the risk of reactivity to previous interviews, there is reason to expect that cumulative survey experience increases the ...

Testing initial conditions in dynamic panel data models
Econometric Reviews, 2019We propose a new framework for testing the “mean stationarity” assumption in dynamic panel data models, required for the consistency of the system GMM estimator.

Solar panel modelling for low illuminance indoor conditions
2016 IEEE Nordic Circuits and Systems Conference (NORCAS), 2016In the energy harvesting domain, the modelling of a solar panel plays an important role in predicting the energy availability of energy harvesting system applications. Indoor environments, which are illuminated by artificial light sources, have typically much lower illumination levels than outdoor environments.
