¿Estimando el retorno a la Educación o a los no observables?: Evidencia de datos de panel [PDF]

In this paper we investigate the bias due to non observable factors in the estimating of return to schooling for the case of Chile. Using the data from the Casen Survey panel 1996-2001, we estimate a difference model. We find a return to schooling around 9%, which is 2 to 5 percents points lower than found in previous studies.

Abstract The United Nations and European Union have set ambitious conservation goals to halt and reverse declines in biodiversity by protecting 30% of land and sea areas by 2030. Effective conservation planning requires evidence‐based spatial prioritization to maximize the coverage of species within designated protected areas.

Utility of X‐ray computed tomography (X‐ray CT) for visualising belowground plant interactions between multiple spatial scales and focal planes. Summary Plant–microbe interactions are inherently spatial, yet the physical structure of the soil and rhizosphere is rarely treated as a mechanistic variable in experimental design.
